Playa Azul Cozumel Hotel, Cozumel

I had a pretty mixed experience at this hotel. While it was secluded and offered a nice, quiet atmosphere, the maintenance issues like hot water and the presence of flies were quite off-putting. The staff showed varying levels of attentiveness, and the breakfast was just adequate. Overall, it’s not a place I would recommend based on my stay.

Our family had an amazing time at this resort during our scuba trip. The rooms were clean, spacious, and offered stunning ocean views. The staff went out of their way to make us feel at home, and the dining options were diverse and delicious. The beach area was lovely and well-kept, though the Wi-Fi could have been better. Overall, it was a great vacation spot for us as a family, especially for diving.

The hotel is a lovely spot with a beautiful area for snorkeling and a relaxing beach atmosphere. The rooms are clean, especially the oceanfront jacuzzi suite, which felt fresh and modern. While the dining options are outside the hotel, the delicious breakfast buffet makes up for it. The staff was attentive, ensuring a comfortable experience. However, the lack of a fitness center was a letdown, and the hotel is a bit north of the main attractions, requiring a short taxi ride.

I had a fantastic stay at Playa Azul! The hotel is lovely and clean, with wonderfully comfortable rooms. The snorkeling right at the hotel was a highlight, and the staff made us feel so welcome. While I had a bit of an issue with the initial room assignment, the overall experience was top-notch. Dining was a treat, especially breakfast. I wish the Wi-Fi was complimentary, but that was a minor inconvenience in an otherwise great trip.
